What are your office hours?

I respond immediately to emails sent Mondays between 10-11:15 am.

At other times, I respond within 12 hours during weekdays, and for emergencies only on weekends. I cannot generally guarantee responses on weekends.

How do I know what to do?

In the beginning, read through the course syllabus and watch the introductory videos posted in the first week of the class in the assignment schedule and in the blog post for the week on this site. If you still have questions, send me an email at the address posted on the syllabus. I’m here to help! Chances are the information you need is available in one of the course documents. Part of the learning process is figuring out where you can find the answers on your own–something that can be very overwhelming in your first year of college.

Where do I find my assignments?

Assignments are linked in the syllabus and in the blog post for the week that it is due. Homework assignments for workshops only can also be found linked to the week before it is due.

How do I turn in my assignments?

Upload your file as a Google Doc (NOT a Word, Pages, or PDF document) using the “turn in” forms linked next to the assignments themselves. If at first you do not see these links look carefully at the links for assignments. They are usually next to the words “turn in,” and that is also the link to upload it to the relevant folder.
